1.Introduction & Characteristic

Chain link fence also named diamond wire mesh, is woven from high quality steel wire, by a high precision wire netting machine.

Chain link fence with uniform mesh hole, flat surface, beautiful appearance, great corrosion resistance, long service life. Does not dag or roll up at the bottom.

2.Types of Chain Link Fence

1) classified by the surface treatment:     

 Electro galvanized chain link fence

 Hot-dipped galvanized chain link fence

2) Classified by the different edge:

Knuckle - Knuckle,  Twist – Twist,  Knuckle - Twist.

Describing:

1. Knuckling_ This term is used to describe the type of selvage obtained by interlocking adjacent pairs of wire ends and then bending the wire ends back into a closed loop. 2.Twisting-- This term is used to describe the type of selvage obtained by twisting adjacent pairs of wire ends together in a closed helix of 1-1/2 machine turns, which is equivalent to three full twists, and cffing the wire ends at a sharp angle to provide sharp points. The wire ends beyond the twist shall be at least 1/4 inch (6.4mm) long. 3. Knuckle is standard unless otherwise stated. Twist is available for 6 foot and higher.

Which chain-link should I buy, galvanized or PVC coated ?

Firstly chain link fence with a wire diameter of 3mm - 4 mm can stood 30-40 years.

1) If you just use it to protect against corrosion, please choose fence with galvanized, it’s economical and practical.

2) If you want to have a more attractive appearance should buy the PVC coated fence, protect against corrosion and looks beautiful, use for garden, residential, public area etc.

Attention please:

If you plan to put fence into hostile environments: near the sea or in the acid factory area. Please buy PVC coated chain link fence. Because sea salt air and acid atmosphere very quickly corrode zinc surface, but they cannot cope with the polymer coating.
